Stokes Sauces, established in 2004 manufacture a unique range of high-end sauces; best in class for taste and quality. We create, manufacture and package everything on-site from our rural location in Suffolk. The Stokes brand reaches the finest shops, restaurants, hotels, pubs and delis across the UK, as well as several key export markets.

We have an exciting part-time job share opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller with a good business acumen to join our growing business.

Working alongside our current Credit Controller you will report to the Commercial Director with the following responsibilities:-

The Role:-

• Managing outstanding debtors, the Credit Controller will handle credit applications, negotiate payment plans and maintain accurate financial records.
• Posting daily cash.
• Evaluate the credit status of clients to identify debtors and their credit level.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure proper management of debt.
• Produce weekly reports.
• Monthly reconciliation of debtor ledger accounts.

The Candidate

• Proven experience within a credit control position.
• Ability to work independently to accomplish team goals and objectives.
• Possess strong IT skills including an advanced working knowledge of Excel and an understanding of SAP would be preferred, but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills with a clear understanding of the importance of deadlines.
