About Us

Your Back Yard CIC are community regeneration specialists, based in Leeds, who work in areas of most need, across Yorkshire, to help get community projects off the ground. We work on a number of projects around parks, play areas, physical health and mental health, and improving life chances for all sectors of the population.

Project Opportunity

To help us with the filming and creation of a promotional video for our 1-2-1 fitness exercise classes aimed at older adults.

You would be a key part of our project ‘Getting Active and Online’, which aims to increase activity and socialisation in older adults by providing free online exercise classes, whilst also providing tablets and training on how to use them.

We would want the exercises filmed from different angles as well as interesting editing and visuals.

Your duties:

  • Film the 5 hours worth of exercise classes, with your own camera.
  • Film clips of the instructors for a promotional video.
  • Plan a promotional video to be shared on social media to promote the project.
  • Edit the filmed clips into the planned promotional video.

Necessary skills:

  • Friendly and positive attitude.
  • Punctuality to the sessions.
  • Camera and editing skills.

Other requirements

Your own camera and equipment.
