Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Building Surveyor to join a medium-sized multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting building surveys, inspections and defect diagnosis on commercial, industrial and residential properties.
- Preparing schedules of condition, dilapidations reports and building reinstatement cost valuations.
- Project management of building works.
- Preparing specifications, schedules of works and tender documentation.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Conducting contract administration duties, including certification of payments and valuations.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Building Surveyor role.
- MRICS qualified or working towards the qualification.
- Experienced in undertaking building surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidations reports.
- Knowledge of building regulations and construction technology.
- Good communication and client management skills.
- Strong project management and report writing skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
