Inspirational Care Services is a new, positive and currently unregulated provision for Looked After Children within the UK whose Local Authority is struggling to source a placement for them for a variety of reasons.

Inspirational Care Services is managed by a registered social worker and a registered nurse and strives to provide a high standard of care and meet all needs of children within their care.

The current provision is a 2 bedroom caravan based in Ormskirk. There will be 1 child at the provision with 2:1 staff.

Shifts are 8am-8pm at £12 per hour and night shifts are 8pm-8am. Night shifts are paid at £12 per hour between the hours of 8pm-11pm and 7am-8am with the sleepover being paid at £50. Pay is weekly.

Some children may require waking nights and these will be paid at £12 per hour.

8am-8pm shifts can be split in 8am-2pm and 2pm-8pm within certain circumstances and staff availability.

Most children are not currently in education and therefore it is our responsibility to provide activities during the day such as visits to museums, local site seeing points, walks, swimming, attending the gym or other sports or any other interest the child has.

Staff responsibilities is to ensure the child’s safety at all times, provide and encourage their care including personal hygiene and meals and support life skills such as budgeting when shopping etc. Staff tasks will include general daily cleaning and upkeep of the provision along with daily logs of the child for the Local Authority.

The child will have a responsibility for the cleanliness of their own bedroom however this will encouraged by staff and a daily reward chart.

Part-time hours: 12-96 per week
