This company is based in Bedfordshire and convert standard cars and vans into specialist vehicles for operational use for the emergency services and are looking for a Stores Person to join their team.

The work is focused within a factory manufacturing emergency services and conversion of vehicles police cars and vans, along with paramedic vehicles and many other types of build.
We welcome applications from a stores background, warehouse operative experience, experience within a goods in/out environment

Duties of the Stores Person;

• Goods In
• Receiving goods and checking against orders.
• Booking in free issue parts and allocating to correct location.
• Inspecting for damage.
• Moving goods into stores
• Allocating parts to customers stores location.
• Stacking bulky goods safely.
• Picking kits and recording on kit list.
• Distributing kits to fitters.
• Data entry and paperwork.
• Stock taking consumables stock and ordering consumables
• Receiving and checking vehicles in, checking for damage etc
• Filling in vehicle receipt forms
• Booking out vehicles
• Yard Housekeeping
• General workshop duties
• Delivery and Collection of parts

Requirements for the Stores Person role;

• Computer Literate – updating the system
• Clean Driving License
