The Brands team is responsible for growing the organic traffic of brands such as The Eco Experts, Expert Market, Startups, Tech.co and Website Builder Expert. Working with one or more of our brands, the SEO Executive is responsible for implementing on-site SEO best practice and supporting the content team to ensure all website content is optimised for maximum organic search visibility.

Collaborating with all teams within the Publishing department, the SEO Executive will have a working understanding of SEO and effectively use analysis and judgement to make complex decisions and clearly communicate these. They are integral to the development and implementation of the brand SEO roadmap and are responsible for delivering roadmap objectives with direction from the SEO Manager.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver the team's on-site SEO strategy
  • Conduct content reviews and provide feedback to the Content team to ensure all website copy is optimised
  • Identify SEO opportunities and communicate these to brand Editors to assist with strategic planning
  • Support with SEO requests to grow and develop our website and publishing portfolio
  • Conduct Technical SEO audits to ensure best SEO practice is applied to the websites
  • Assist with testing and R&D of new SEO initiatives
  • Deliver data analysis to provide insights that drive actionable outcomes
  • Communicate key information to relevant stakeholders and the wider team

About you/Requirements for the role

  • Passion to provide our users with the best possible search experience
  • Interest in SEO, digital marketing
  • Interest in technical SEO strategies
  • Analytical and problem-solving attitude
  • Experience of using a CMS and HTML a plus
  • Proactive and independent approach to working life
  • Good communication and organisational skills
