We’re looking for a Proposition Developer-Manager for a unique opportunity to create market leading energy solutions.

What are we looking for?
-
Experienced working in a proposition and innovation discipline. Proven track record of translating insights into market leading propositions that meet true customer needs and commercially successful in B2C, ideally also B2(s)B and B2B2C markets.

Knowledgeable and practised in product-proposition lifecycle management by continual performance monitoring and improvement delivery.

Commercially aware and proficient in formulating business cases for new product developments that align to overarching targets such as customer, revenue and margin change.

Culturally and strategically aware – role-model and advocate corporate direction, ways of working, managing and collaborating with colleagues.

Numerate and analytical - at ease with combining market data, financials and customer insight.

Able to work on your own initiative, under pressure and meet deadlines - responding quickly to market and changes juggling multiple competing priorities and keeping themself and colleagues focused on delivery.

A good stakeholder manager and colleague aligner through building relationships and your communication and engagement skills with key functional areas including IT, Go-to-Market and Operations.

A marshaller of continual (re)alignment of cross-functional change.

Able to travel (as needed, but not expected to be more than once a month) to various E.ON (Next) sites.

continually (re)assess the Residential and Small-business energy supply marketplaces to have deep knowledge of customers’ needs and demographic-technological impact factors.

Curious and knowledgeable about innovation-disruption in the energy industry and other consumer marketplaces. Open-minded and making connections others don’t see.

identify, incubate and embed insight-based concept features & business cases that deliver what our customers need now and in the future, driving business revenue growth throughout the proposition lifecycle.

Bring talent together to deliver

Find and build influential relationships and partnerships with peers and senior leaders in customer-facing functions such as Go-to-Market, Customer Service Operations, IT, Data, and wider E.On proposition teams and suppliers.

Help shape proposition sales channel strategies to make sure customers realise we will meet their needs better than anyone else.

Marshall change to maintain alignment of touchpoints to customer needs and wants, achieving a seamless, simple and convenient journey for our customers.

Location - Flexible - London, Bolton, Nottingham or Leicster with travel to other sites when needed

Working environment: Flexible hybrid working – a blend of in the office for 2-3 days a week and at home the remainder.
