Profile Security Services Limited is currently recruiting for Relief Security Officer to work in the Blackburn with Darwen area.

Job purpose:

To provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and Profile Security’s policies and procedures.

Duties include:

• To provide and deliver a first-class customer service to all Visitors, Site employees and contractors.
• Patrolling on site
• Ensure that all equipment is managed, used, monitored and reported defective in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to
• Must be able to deal with confrontational situations professionally and be able to calm a situation down where possible.
• Effective operation of all access control systems relevant to an assignment.
• Timely and accurate completion of log entries and reports.
• To undertake mandatory and statutory training as required.
• To comply with all relevant policies, procedures and guidelines, including those relating to Equal Opportunities and Confidentiality of Information.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Must hold a valid SIA Frontline License. One of the following SG/DS/CP
• Hold a Valid SIA CCTV License is desirable but not essential
• 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standards (BS7858).
• Excellent communication & administration skills.
• Must be punctual and have the ability to think on their feet.
• Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
• Smart, well-groomed and confident.
• Good report writing skills.
• IT literacy would be an advantage.
• Driving Licence with own transport would be an advantage
