We now have an exciting opportunity to become part of our new team as our new Security Guard. Working 4 on 4 off, Days/Nights 5am-5pm/5pm-5am (overtime available, shift premium on nights hours) Location Derby

What will you do?

You will embody Alloga’s core values resulting in exceptionally high standards by ensuring the security of our sites. As part of a dedicated and effective team you will be an integral part of the continued safety of our sites, products, and employees.

Key responsibilities;

• Maintain high standards of access and egress control to site
• Continuously monitor and operate site critical applications such as CCTV, Fire and Intruder systems
• Patrolling the campus both internally and externally incorporating staff and vehicle searches
• Accurate report writing with experience in email and telephone communications

What will you bring?

The successful candidate will be dedicated with the ability to be constantly aware of your surroundings. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to gain support across multiple areas.

Key skills & attributes.

• At least 1 years’ experience working in a heavy logistics and warehousing environment
• Experienced in matters regarding Health & Safety
• An assertive yet motivational team player
• Ideally experienced in a security lead role
• SIA licence holder advantage

Overtime rate pay after 39 hours:

Time +half = £15.30

Double time Sunday = £20.40(Sunday has to be 5th day in the week)

Night shift premium 1/3 (£3.40 per hour) through the night shift only

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.20 per hour
