Red carpet couture meets historic fashion in a major new exhibition coming to Kensington Palace next Spring! Crown to Couture will be the largest exhibition ever staged at Kensington Palace and it will be an unforgettable summer to work with us.
Your main role is to facilitate ticket sales and drive membership and retail sales, generating vital income for our charity. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for providing the highest level of customer service by actively anticipating and responding quickly and flexibly to our visitor’s needs and creating memorable customer experiences for all our visitors, whilst also ensuring the day to day safety and security of our palaces, their collection and our guests.
You will also ensure the retail and admissions sales locations are presented to the expected the standards and ensure that all published ticketing and cash handling procedures are adhered to.
The glittering world of the Georgian court will come head-to-head with the high glamour of the modern-day red carpet at this exciting exhibition at Kensington Palace. Crown to Couture will see contemporary couture worn by high profile celebrities including Lizzo and Lady Gaga, displayed alongside historic costume – drawing fascinating parallels between the world of the red carpet and the world of the Royal Court in the eighteenth century, and we want you to be part of it.

About you
A strong drive for achieving sales targets and the confidence to approach visitors and actively sell a wide range of products is essential. A key factor is to be an active team player in a small team.
With customer service experience from retail or visitor attractions, you will have a positive and flexible approach, being able to adapt your style to respond to visitor needs.

You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages and experience of hospital systems including Winscribe, Medway, DHR and NOTIS is desirable.
Delivery driver experience: 4 years (required). Driving license must be held 4 or more years. Must be 30 or older due to insurance purposes.
