Regional Maintenance Manager

Boots Property is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to join the Store Maintenance team to support the delivery of facilities management / maintenance services across our diverse store estate across the UK.

This full-time role is based in our Nottingham support office, with the opportunity to work remotely a day or two a week. We are looking for someone who is passionate about service delivery, relationships and has a tenacious attitude to issue resolution.

About the role

Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, the job holder will be a member of the Store Maintenance team. Providing great support to our store leadership teams, driving the strategic intent, operational delivery, and prioritisation of maintenance / facilities management services across of diverse store retail estate.

This role will work closely, and develop excellent relationships with, both internal and external stakeholders. Driving and monitoring key metrics for their regions, to identify and maximize opportunities for service improvement and process adoption and adherence to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance / facilities management and care for colleagues across all UK sites.

  • Own and manage the ongoing relationship with Retail Leadership for your area
  • Attend regional retail meetings, to provide strategic and performance updates on Reactive, Planned and Capital Maintenance programmes
  • Provide insight driven reporting of performance, trends and financial data
  • Carry out regional reviews of longstanding, complex issues and act as a point of escalation for region
  • Utilize retail insight to shape Capital Replacement programme to maximize investment
  • Work with a range of third party and internal stakeholders to achieve the timely resolution of complex maintenance issues
  • Drive adoption of a new CAFM System with both internal teams and external partners, driving quality interactions and identifying development opportunities

What you'll need to have

  • Understanding of managing budgets and identifying and implementing opportunities cost savings and efficiencies
  • Analytical skills – ability to analyse large and detailed data sets to identify trends and opportunities
  • Able to present data in a compelling way to drive behavioural change
  • Ability to manage multiple Stakeholder relationships across the business at multiple levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience of Maintenance / FM / Property or Account Management
  • Experience of retail / multi-site, multi-discipline environments
