About the Role

The PPC team manage global paid search marketing campaigns and are responsible for the profitable spend and evaluation of a multi-million pound annual budget. We are professional, expert and data-driven. The team has a high profile, driving over a third of the company's revenues, and needs talent that can uphold this profile in a credible manner. Our key stakeholder groups include the Exec Board of Directors, Finance, Trade Managers and Retail. The PPC Executive will report into the Senior PPC Manager and will work as part of this team to improve our capabilities.

Responsible for developing PPC strategies for our key markets, devising optimisation tactics, reporting on and analysing performance of PPC campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Incredibly detail-oriented with hands on management of PPC campaigns (text ads and shopping) across multiple search engines and markets.
  • Working with the PPC team and wider Media Lab team to deliver exceptional channel performance against strategic business and commercial objectives.
  • Implementing ASOS' trade and promotional plans via PPC.
  • Using a variety of tools (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and their Editors, Looker, PowerBI and SA360) and reports to set up and manage campaigns on Google and other search engines.
  • Managing GMC for your given markets including troubleshooting feed issues and setting up GMC promotions to maximise exposure of our trade calendar.
  • Building relationships with third party partners (i.e. Google and Microsoft) to ensure you are a subject matter expert, and are kept up-to-date on the latest features and releases.
  • Fostering a test and learn mentality – you can set up, run and report on considered and scientific experiments which strive to improve efficiency of our spend.
  • Managing relationships with and delivering performance reporting and actionable insight to internal stakeholders.
  • Working closely with our Insight team to uncover new opportunities for efficiency and/or growth.
  • Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

Qualifications


Who We'd Like to Meet

  • Experience managing PPC campaigns and is experienced in managing large budgets and delivering against multiple KPIs. Has worked extensively in a company-led marketing operation or as an agency 'doer', not just managed external agencies at an advertiser.
  • Has extensive experience with SA360, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (required).
  • Has experience with Google Shopping (required), Merchant Center (required) and Google Analytics (preferred).
  • Demonstrable understanding of the wider Digital Marketing landscape (Affiliate, SEO, Paid Social, and Programmatic channels).
  • Demonstrable passion for working in the Retail industry with a commercial mindset.
  • AdWords accreditation (preferred).
  • Proficient in use of Excel to create reports and work with large data sets.
