Job Description

The Football Association have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PA to provide high level organisational and administrative support to the Director of Women's Professional Game and the Senior Leadership Team. This will be a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Director & Head of Operations of the Women's Professional Game including diary management, travel and hotel bookings, phone call screening and coordination of papers and agendas for meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to the Women's Leagues and Competitions Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
  • Collate information and develop departmental monthly reports for WLC SLT.
  • Organise meetings, logistics, agendas and record actions and minutes for Women's Leagues and Competitions departmental and SLT meetings.
  • Support the WLC team on key events.
  • Act as Secretary to the BFA WSL & FA WC Board and, if required, sub meetings of the board – scheduling meetings, coordinating and proof-reading papers, distribution of board papers, taking minutes and monitoring actions.
  • Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
  • As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:
  • Experience in a PA/Team Coordinator role.
  • Evidence of high-level diary and scheduling management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
  • High levels of discretion; previous experience working with confidential information.
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills.
  • To be able to communicate to a high level with internal & external stakeholders at all levels.

Our Organisation

We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
