Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Do you want to develop your marketing communications career as part of a creative, strategic global marketing team? We are seeking a Marketing Communications Executive to support our fast-paced team in delivering targeted marketing campaigns. The global library marketing team within the global marketing department consists of more than 20 marketing professionals based in London, across the US and in Latin America. We work closely with editorial, product innovation and the global sales teams to bring new library products to market and to ensure continued success of our legacy products.


Your New Role:

  • Coordinate and implement email campaigns for selected products to generate leads, drive sales, raise brand awareness and share SAGE content.
  • Manage all aspects of designated email campaigns including schedule, data briefing, copywriting, editing, proofreading, analysis, and reporting.
  • Edit email campaigns using our existing HTML template library.
  • Test campaigns to inform email marketing strategies.
  • Monitor key competitor marketing activity to make recommendations for SAGE email campaigns based on findings.
  • Create and edit web pages as required.
  • Undertake digital advertising campaigns as required including copywriting, targeting, design brief, and analysis.
  • Coordinate production of marketing collateral for designated areas as required.

Qualifications & Education:
  • A super-organized multi-tasker, comfortable juggling a varied workload, with strong skills in managing projects, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Experienced in marketing communications and creating compelling campaign copy.
  • An excellent communicator, happy to manage projects and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
  • Someone who likes to problem solve and use their initiative to get the job done.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new skills and technologies.
  • Equipped with a keen eye for detail.
  • Someone with a keen sense of design and how to message to a target audience.
  • Creative, with experience of writing engaging copy.
