Are you a talented Management & Systems Accountant with a passion for delivering high-quality financial reporting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team!

As our new Management & Systems Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of our finance system and delivering timely, accurate reporting information to the business. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will manage the finance system and provide support and training to both Finance and non-Finance teams to ensure its seamless integration with other key systems.

But that's not all! You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement new processes within the system to continuously improve our financial reporting tools and provide valuable insights to inform the business. As a key contact for the Digital division on IT projects, including system upgrades and implementations, you will have the chance to drive improvement in the finance system and collaborate closely with our Group and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the finance team and wider business by providing subject matter expertise in Dynamics 365
  • Analyse business requirements and recommend solutions to improve business processes and deliver continuous improvement system functionality and reporting
  • Provide training to new users, the finance team and others in the wider organisation
  • Ensure system permissions are in line with delegated authorities and approval limits and ensure appropriate segregation of duties
  • Ensure end-to-end processes in Finance and the wider organisation are aligned in the system and adhere to internal control best practices
  • In conjunction with Group and external partners, support project teams to implement new and update existing systems
  • Work with the Finance Manager and budget holders to design and develop management reports, including variance analysis, to better inform the business and support the Division’s management in their decision making
  • Implement price adjustments to the system and ensure processes exist to ensure these adjustments are reflected in customer billing on a timely basis


ABOUT YOU
  • Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
  • Good academic background
  • Experience working in a large corporate environment preferable
  • Experience in dealing with a changing, fast-paced business
  • Experience in producing, timely, high-quality management and statutory accounts
  • Experience in transaction processing and reporting improvements
  • Strong understanding of month-end procedures, reconciliations etc
  • Experience in identifying and implementing new controls and procedures
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to form successful working relationships
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining the quality and accuracy of the work
  • Advanced Excel skills and accounts system administration
  • Flexibility to travel regularly to visit company sites, attend meetings etc


Restore Digital supports customers on their digital transformation journeys. Born out of a scanning company, we still have four main scanning centres across the UK where we are working on large digitisation projects for the NHS, the Ministry of Defence and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. And usually, we are busy digitising most of the exam papers undertaken in the UK every year.
