Purpose of role

The role will involve managing your own caseload of industrial disease defended EL/PL claims.

The role involves working closely with Insurers, their Insureds and Corporate Clients providing not only technical advice but also added value services for the client, providing an outstanding service which makes a difference to our client’s business.

Proven experience in an insurance or legal based environment handling disease claims, both pre litigation and post litigation. Post litigation experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the Firm’s Clients and Client documentation and information.
  • Always work in accordance with the detailed procedures and quality standards contained in client SLAs and the Firm’s Policies and Best Practice Guidelines.
  • Comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules of the Professional Conduct of Solicitors in accordance with the Firm’s guidelines.
  • Report breaches and deal with complaints in line with the Firm’s policies.
