Job Summary:
Client has instructed us to aid their search for a talented Lead Data Scientist to join their growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the data science team and working closely with the engineering and product teams to build and deploy scalable data-driven solutions that will power the platform's trading capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data scientists and work with the engineering and product teams to develop data-driven solutions that will power the platform's trading capabilities
• Build and maintain machine learning models and algorithms that will drive their trading capabilities, from data cleaning and feature engineering to model selection and performance evaluation
• Develop and implement processes for data collection, cleaning, and integration from various sources
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends that can inform trading strategies and inform product development
• Develop and maintain analytical dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and inform decision-making
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply this knowledge to improve the platform's capabilities
• Collaborate with the product management team to identify new areas where data-driven solutions can be applied to enhance the platform's functionality

Requirements:

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in data science or a related field
• Experience leading a team of data scientists and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
• Experience with trading or related industries is a plus
