Job Overview

Routine planned maintenance tasks and reactive maintenance repairs on both equipment and buildings in accordance with current legislation.

Main Duties

• Carry out work in a safe manner in accordance with site rules and regulations.
• Appreciation of industry standard safe working practices including permit to work systems, COSHH, risk assessments and accident/incident reporting.
• Interpret site works drawings.
• Install timber stud partitioning walls.
• Installation and assembly of doors windows inclusive of all furniture.
• Maintenance and overhaul of all door closure systems.
• Knowledge and practice of basic formwork skills.
• Ensure that all work is undertaken within the job holder's own level of demonstrated competence.
• Ad hoc duties as requested by management team.

• Time served craftsman in relevant discipline.
• Previous experience in the discipline area.
• Appreciation of industry safety standards and procedures.
• Experience of working within a customer focused environment.
• Personal and Plant safety.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual.
• Willingness and ability to participate in task audits/near miss reporting/plant audits etc.
• Takes responsibilities for own actions.
• Keenness to pro-actively improve housekeeping.
