The Company
Based in Leeds, our client is a young and vibrant independent residential property buying company, with an impressive reputation and a prominent presence.
The Role
Due to the company's success, they are expanding the team to focus their efforts in selling ‘off market’ properties in the residential and commercial sectors. Joining an established team and reporting to the Sales Manager, the company are looking to recruit an Investment Sales Consultant to support the growth of this part of the business.
- The role involves supporting the Sales Manager in matching suitable buyers to properties, and providing brief and concise details of the opportunities.
- Organising viewings with vendors and potential buyers.
- Building relationships and sourcing new investors through networking both in person, over the phone and online platforms.
- Sourcing new residential and commercial stock to sell, whilst managing vendor expectations.
- Negotiating property purchases with investors
- Providing support with administrative duties such as, issuing memorandums of sale, contract signings, organising photos, floor plans, EPC’s and other contractor appointments.
- Progressing sales through to completion through liaising with solicitors, vendors and buyers.
- Updating and maintaining information using the in-house case management system
The Person
Professional, with the ability to form new and lasting business relationships, you will ideally already have experience of Property Sales in a fast paced environment.
- It is desirable that the person will have minimum of 2 years Property Sales experience, and it would be beneficial, but not essential to have worked with investors in both the commercial and residential sectors.
- It would be useful to have experience of liaising with solicitors in order to progress sales to a timely completion
- Experience of researching companies and the confidence to make approaches to future investors, property developers and real estate agents in order to seek out new business opportunities
- Excellent decision making skills
- Strong IT knowledge and fully proficient with on-line business platforms, Word and Excel
- Confident and professional with a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to work within a team, but also alone.
