What we’re looking for...

AG Barr are looking for a HR Planning & Projects Coordinator with either a background or interest in HR, to be responsible for the development and management of the HR delivery plan, including all BAU and project-related activity. Reporting into the Head of Operations and Organisational Development and working closely with the HR Director, this role is at the centre of the HR function. With a helicopter view of all activity, you’ll provide operational support to the HR Director and coordinate the delivery of key actions from various forums both at a functional and leadership level.

Working closely with the communications team to ensure effective and timely communication from the HR function where relevant, this role will lead on project planning and management of key milestones for delivery, and in the development of key documents for relevant stakeholders.

As HR Planning & Projects Coordinator, you’ll get oversight of the end-to-end delivery of projects and exposure to wider HR activity. You’ll also work closely with senior members of the HR Leadership Team and Business Leaders, gaining an understanding of HR strategy and how this is delivered to the wider business.

Your responsibilities will include...

As HR Planning & Projects Lead your responsibilities will include;

  • Lead on the creation, development and implementation of a functional HR plan to ensure successful delivery of our people strategy and BAU activity
  • Track delivery against the plan on an ongoing basis and liaise with key stakeholders as required
  • Support the project management and delivery of all people related projects
  • Ensure the follow up of key actions from relevant forums at a functional HR level and also at a leadership level
  • Provide operational support to the HR Director
  • Develop key documents as required related to our people strategy and plan
  • Work with the communications team to coordinate all people related communications in line with the activity plan
  • Lead the coordination of change initiatives, projects, presentations and governance reporting
  • Coordinate the annual planning cycle of activities including the HR budget development and strategy review
  • Track delivery against the HR budget on an on-going basis to ensure no overspend
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Leadership team as required

  • Experience in project planning and management
  • A background or interest in HR and seeing HR strategies come to life.
