Job Description

  • Supporting all employees within the ZEISS Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) UK production facility, and the Sales and Service Centre UK, the HR Business Partner will partner with the Senior Leadership Teams and departmental managers to support the effective delivery of the HR service,
    What you’ll be doing.
  • Working as part of the Human Resources Department, we are looking for a HR Business Partner (FTC)
    You will:
    • Be the main point of contact for the local implementation of the new Global HRIS, Workday, including:
    • Attending Global Project meetings with the other ZEISS HR colleagues
    • Support in the data gathering phase
    • Participate in testing of the system
    • Deliver on the successful training and communications to local employees
    • Support Go-live
    • Provide accurate and knowledgeable advice on all HR related policies and procedures.
    • Provide guidance, support and coaching to Line Managers on employee related issues.
    • Build strong relationships with our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) solution to ensure effective recruitment practices
    • Support local HR projects and processes including but not limited to right to work, compensation and benefits, GDPR.
    • Deputise for the Head of HR when appropriate.

    ZEISS House, Cambourne
    Applicable for Agile working (up to 2-3 days per week working from Home)
    May be requirement to travel to other sites in rugby/visit field staff
In order to succeed in this role, you will
  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified
  • Able to engage and build strong working relationships and trust with a diverse ranges of stakeholders
  • Be able to work in a fast paced and agile organisation, and be comfortable supporting multiple priorities
  • Excellent understanding of UK employment law with experience in handling sensitive employee relations issues
  • Analytical with the ability to identify trends and take action accordingly
  • Comfortable implementing processes and challenging the status quo
  • Aviation Security If your role requires you to enter any of the production areas you need to have carried out the relevant training and Basic DBS check
