We are a premium high-street womenswear brand, that is focused on excellent quality garments, with fits that accentuate the female form. We design and produce all samples in the rapidly expanding East London studio. We are offering a permanent position for an experienced Senior Womenswear Designer.
You will be working closely with the Creative Director and Design team to create the newest collections for the online and global stores. You will have the opportunity to design and and create a huge range of garments including woven separates, jersey, knitwear, lingerie, outerwear and our signature bandage.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be an operational recruitment expert who will manage full recruitment life cycle and provide guidance and advice on all subjects related to talent acquisition, internal mobility and recruitment of ad hoc projects. You will design and implement team structures that retain and grow talent in head office, retail and distribution
Working collaboratively with multi-level stakeholders across the global team in UK, US and Australia to support their people strategy and priorities. The focus of work will be across the entire recruitment process for retail and head office recruitment.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the Talent Acquisition function, design and implement team structures that retain and grow talent in head office, retail and distribution
  • Establish strong relationships with line managers in order to understand current and future talent needs
  • Establish strong working relationships with both retail and corporate management teams, being visible as well as being approachable and available to all hiring managers to support with assessment centre and interviews while clearly and transparently communicating at all times, providing regular updates and information to the management teams
  • Responsible for recruitment KPI's
  • Supports the Brand with global ad hoc projects when required while collaborating with Marketing to achieve a strong employer Branding
  • Collaborate with department managers on potential growth with new roles or updating responsibilities within existing roles
  • Identify gaps in talent or management structure of teams and processes. Design team structures for long term business growth and efficient use of wage budget
  • Build job descriptions, KPIs and management structure for new and existing roles
  • Develop metrics and analysis to measure hiring effectiveness and new role performance
  • Recruit multilevel talent globally for all business areas. In particular design, marketing, retail permanent and casual
  • Manage recruitment budget while trying to achieve 100% of hires without external agency
Sourcing new talent responsibilities
  • Proactively sourcing through headhunting, networking, passive and active jobseekers
  • Building a database of talent for upcoming roles, future team expansion, maternity cover etc.
  • Talent mapping to build relationships with key talent in the market
  • Establishing relationships with talent channels such as universities and trade colleges for potential internship and graduate roles
  • Document and report on search progress, diversity initiatives and market level salaries and packages
Interview Process responsibilities
  • Compiling interview questions
  • Conducting preliminary interviews and shortlisting candidates
  • Host hiring team pre-briefs to agree and inform on hiring requirements
  • Brief hiring managers on competency-based interview techniques, questions, trial structure and selection process
  • Offering a positive and smooth candidate experience throughout the hiring process, negotiate and manage candidate offer, contract and referencing documents and background checks



SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of related experience in a similar role
  • Excellent in communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proactive, professional, flexible and able to multi-task
  • Experience in HR procedures a plus
  • Experience in head office and retail staffing for a fashion company a plus
