Group Tax Manager job in London requires a Head of Tax of a stand alone tax background, or a Group Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager for this interim tax job in London.

Reporting to the CFO and with a strong working relationship with the Financial Controller, the Group Tax Manager will commence in April for a 6 months position, managing the tax affairs of this business whilst a permanent appointment is made.

During this time the key focus of the role will be on the preparation of the half year tax figures and liaising with the auditors on queries they may have. There will also be the review of due diligence of disposals the business is making.

Being the sole tax representative for the business, there will be other tax matters to maintain across the wider direct taxes and indirect taxes.

Collaboration across the company is a key factor in this business’s culture and this is built on by being present in the office. Therefore, this role will involve working 4 days per week in the office (easy walking distance from one of London’s main transport hubs including overground, underground and bus), with 1 day per week WFH.

Taking autonomy of tax for this business will fulfil the post holder’s expertise and offering and is an opportunity to be grasped.
