Grass Plant Limited are looking for a suitably qualified First Assistant Greenkeeper, for its new project at Lullingstone Park Golf Club, Orpington, Kent

Grass Plant Limited are a specialist Golf Course maintenance and renovation company who currently operate 6 Golf Courses in the south east of England.

We are in the process of hiring an ambitious 1st assistant greenkeeper, who wishes to further their career with us and show their talents in producing a great golf course already laid out on a stunning piece of land in the Kent countryside.

We are embarking on a variety of projects over the next year, including bunker renovations, woodland management, tee improvements, and a greens development plan.

As first assistant, you will be actively involved in the decision making on the day to day management of the golf course, and we consider this position as we do for all our rising stars, as a position where future opportunities will arise for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will require:

• NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Management or similar (required)
• Spraying PA1,2.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in greenkeeping or similar role.
• GCSE or equivalent (required)

Job Type: Full-time (8 hour shift), plus weekend hours per rota.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per year depending on experience
