Job Description


The role of graduate graphic designer will be responsible for taking briefs and initial concepts and creating content that brings our brand to life and inspires and supports Worcester Bosch’s customers. The successful candidate will have a graphic design degree or background, but a solid understanding of branding and experience with supporting marketing teams is beneficial.

The role will specifically support our brand marketing team in delivering on-brand, engaging content for our digital channels although there will undoubtedly be opportunities across print and POS. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills, see your creative brought to life and see it live in front of millions of customers.

Scope of Role

  • Working with the brand team to deliver outstanding and effective content. You will be responsible for production, from the initial brief from the team through to final deliverable, collaborating with your colleagues to understand the purpose of the content, the audience it is aimed at, visualising and creating the content and then taking feedback and amends.
  • Create a range of outstanding content, from social posts and digital advertising through to website content – and more. The role is mainly digitally led, however there will also be opportunities to work on print projects including merchandise, literature and events materials.
  • Support the wider graphics team with photography and video shoots, with the goal of running your own shoots in future.
  • Understanding and ensuring all communication meets brand guidelines and where relevant, social media guidelines.
  • Ensure all content is produced to the highest quality, is accurate and produced to the correct specs for the channel, is up to date and promotes key brand or product messages.
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with your team to develop new and creative ideas – we want to hear them!

Qualifications
  • Design qualification and experience (Educated to degree level in relevant subject)
  • Competent in design software including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop as a minimum, Adobe Acrobat experience preferred
  • Experience of motion graphics and After Effects, Premier Pro, Adobe Audition required
  • Well organised and can meet deadlines, working well under pressure and managing multiple projects
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Great communicator and problem solver
  • Passionate about design and being creative
  • A self-motivated team player. Participates fully within the sales and marketing teams and contributes to wider team effort and vision
  • Keen to continue building skills with further training.

Additional Information


Expected Start Date: Mid-March-April

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
