Job Description

We are seeking an innovative junior design engineer to design complex, accurate solutions for infrastructure projects. Are you someone who enjoys the challenge of designing a product from scratch? And looking to build your skills further? then we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will work with the sales department, and follow a design brief to produce economic schemes to a given timescale. You will be responsible for designing drawings for the client’s range, to then producing efficient material lists for costings and help to successfully deliver the scheme, ensuring high standards are met and maintained throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

● Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings from proposal to final site use.

● Create material lists for quotation and shipments to the site.

● Make sure drawings are safe, economic and efficient for infrastructure projects.

● Liaise with the operation department over delivery requirements and details.

● Participate in job site visits, identify any improper implementation.

● Work to a given timescale.

Requirements:

● Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Structural or Mechanical engineering.

● At least 1 year post-graduate experience in construction.

● Knowledge of formwork and falsework EN/UK standards.

● Experience using design software (BIM, AutoCAD & Revit).

● Creative problem-solving ability.

● Excellent communication skills.

● Able to multitask in a busy environment.
