My client is a multiple award-winning company that rents a variety of construction equipment throughout England and Wales and has strategically located depots that support a variety of industry customers

They are currently looking to strengthen their team in the Cardiff area and have an opportunity for a well organised and conscientious engineer with the ability to work unsupervised on customers sites across the South Wales and Gloucestershire

Responsibilities of the Mobile plant fitter

• Carry out pre- delivery inspection, repair and servicing to construction plant equipment such as diggers, dumpers, telehandlers etc.

• Carrying out the repair of construction plant equipment at customer sites.
• Operate in a safe and courteous manner at all times
• Ensure that health and safety standards are adhered to at all times

Mobile Plant fitter Essentials:

• Full UK clean driving licence
• Previous experience of working with construction plant machinery essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work confidently and safely unaided.
• Strong reporting ability
• NVQ in plant Maintenance preferred or similar
