A fantastic short-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join the LSTM Research Management Services in management of the financial aspects of the regional development programmes awarded to LSTM, specifically the UKRI Strength in Places Fund (SIPF) and the European Regional Development Fund, European Structural and Investment Fund (ESIF).
If you bring experience of working closely with PIs and programme teams in the development and / or management of funded grants, monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on expenditures as well as being responsible for all auditing and compliance matters related to grants, we are keen to hear from you.
As it is a short-term opportunity, we expect the successful candidate to hit the ground running and ideally, be available to join us within 2 weeks of being appointed.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
We are looking for an individual who will be able to create sound working relationships and lead the financial project delivery of assigned grants, whilst always maintaining tight control of finances and adequate forecasts. Additionally, you must demonstrate negotiation and influencing skills and cultural sensitivity coupled with outstanding presentation and organisational skills.
