The Vice Chancellors Office at Queen’s University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint an Executive Secretary to join their administrative support team.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the post holder will provide a highly confidential, comprehensive, and professional secretarial and administrative service to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education and Students) in their role of developing and implementing University-wide policy and strategy and providing strategic academic and managerial leadership for the education portfolio across the University.
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have:
- Minimum of 2 A levels or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject (or equivalent relevant qualification) OR significant relevant experience in a comparable setting.
- At least 4 years’ relevant specialised experience of support in a PA role for a senior manager gained within a large private or public sector organisation to include experience of:
- Working closely with senior managers on a range of complex and confidential matters and taking responsibility for delegated action;
- Experience of committee servicing, including drafting agendas, collating and issuing papers and ensuring actions are implemented; and;
- Experience of diary/appointments; management minute taking and administration of financial accounts.
