An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced SCPHN to work within Brighton and Hove 0-5 HCP in a new development post.

The post is initially temporary for a year with potential opportunity to extend post evaluation of effectiveness.

The Specialist HV SEND role will involve usingadvanced skills and expert knowledge to assess, refer and support the needs of children with additional developmental needs. These children will mainly be pre diagnosis. Professional development will be offered as part of your continuing development, and to help you meet the skills, knowledge required for the post.

The post holder will need to have experience of working within a variety of clinical settings, particularly community and working as part of a multi-professional team.

The post holder will need to demonstrate advanced assessment skills and experience of working with families with additional developmental needs .tra Additional skills and training in areas such as ASC and SEND would be an advantage,

• Develop specialist areas of practice, relevant to the HCP.
• Supervise and support development and training of other staff within the HCP team.
