Job Title: A Level Economics Teacher

Salary: Main Grade Lecturer 7-12, £31,337-£41,345 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting

Contract: Full-time permanent, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

College: Barnet & Southgate College

Primary Location: This post will be based at Wood Street Campus although the post-holder may be required to work from all campuses

We working closely with Barnet & Southgate College (an outstanding Further Education and Training College) to find an exceptional A-level Economics Teacher to join a successful department, ideally to start in September 2023.

Economics is a popular choice at A-Level and the ideal Economics Teacher will have the opportunity to contribute to an experienced and vibrant team. Within the role is the opportunity to act as Subject Leader and we also welcome applicants who could deliver Law.

All applicants for this Economics Teacher role must have:

  • Level 5 degree in Economics or other related subjects
  • A full UK recognised teaching qualification
  • Recent experience of teaching A Level Economics
  • Recent experience within a UK Secondary School or UK Further Education and Training College
  • A valid, fully Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
