Reporting to the Digital Connectivity Manager, you will be working within the Digital Connectivity team as part of the Growth, Infrastructure and Development Group. The key focus for this role is to coordinate the performance and financial aspects relating to the management of the Gigahub project and provide support for the Digital Engagement Officer. As the lead project manager for the Gigahub project, you will be expected to ensure the timely delivery of the project, including the contract manage a number of contractors/sub-contractors. Furthermore, you will manage the reporting, monitoring and funding claims process. As you will be part of the wider Digital Connectivity team, there will also be the opportunity to be involved in other projects/initiatives to improve the access and quality of digital connectivity across Nottinghamshire.
We would expect you to have experience in a project management/contract management role, with some knowledge of digital connectivity or similar infrastructure-based projects. Most importantly, we would like you to apply if you have a passion to deliver good quality projects on time and on budget and would like to contribute to improving residents/businesses access to digital connectivity across the Midlands.
