Salary: £33,706.00- £40,588.00

Hours: 37.5 hours / week (part time hours will be considered)

Fixed term contract or secondment opportunity for 12 months

All MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working

This vacancy is for a Band 6 post; however, we will also consider applications from Dietitians currently working at Band 5 who would develop through a competency programme to Band 6

We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian with excellent clinical and communication skills to join our busy department as a band 6 Cancer Care / Nutrition Support Dietitian.

Previous experience of nutritional support for cancer patients, including enteral / parenteral feeding would be beneficial but is not essential, provided appropriate transferable skills and expertise can be demonstrated.

You should have excellent interpersonal and time management skills with an ability to be flexible and have a strong commitment to teamwork. You must be a team player.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Cancer Care MDT, which includes B7 Macmillan Dietitians, to provide a holistic and patient-centred service.

You will be joining our forward-thinking team of over 25 registered dietitians, dietetic support workers and admin staff, covering acute, community, paediatric and learning disability services.
