Permanent position, 22.5 hours a week
We are seeking a specialist dietitian to be part of the Tier 3 Specialist Weight Management Service, within Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Our forward-thinking service is psychologically led and informed, in an interesting and rapidly developing clinical area. Committed to compassionate and respectful care for people living with Obesity, we understand the complexity of obesity and work with the wider health community to promote more informed thinking about weight. This is an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to support the assessment and treatment of individuals referred to the service. The role is varied, often working alongside physical and mental health conditions to support individuals with weight management. The role includes individual assessment and treatment appointments, co-facilitating weight management groups and supporting individuals towards bariatric surgery.
After an initial training and induction period some aspects of the role have the potential to be delivered remotely, including home working. The post also offers active involvement in service evaluation, audit and outcomes, supported by band 7 dietitians and a lead dietitian. This is a part time post 0.6 WTE (22.5 hours) with the possibility of additional overtime or fixed term hours available.
