Job Description
  • Ability to analyse Finite Element Analysis/simulation results and incorporate into technical specifications
  • Experience of using department tools such as, Enterprise Resource Planning tools (ideally SAP)
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders and non-native speakers
  • Design to cost – on time
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Forward planner and results oriented
  • Open and approachable person who can work well as a team player and independently
  • Willing to travel both domestic and international
  • Must be able to present themselves and their work to management, customers and suppliers

Qualifications
  • Mechanical engineering background with appropriate academic qualifications – degree qualified
  • Excellent working knowledge of 3D CAD software (ideally Siemens NX and TeamCenter)
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and applications
  • Knowledge of central heating systems, and their integration with the heating appliance
  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly methods
  • Self-motivated person with a can-do attitude to ensure objectives are achieved

Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak
