Deputy Head of School (Secondary Phase)

This is a post arising from the previous post holder’s promotion to Headteacher and is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team of a happy, popular and very successful school. Whilst the role is currently leading on behaviour we are keen to appoint the best candidate for the school and so have left the precise details of the position open.

We are, however, seeking to appoint an outstanding Deputy Head of School to:

• Work closely with the Head of School (Secondary Phase) to take the school on the next phase of its journey
• Help shape the strategic direction of the school to build on our significant strengths
• Maintain a sharp focus on raising progress and attainment within a calm, caring, inclusive and aspirational environment
• Be an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated leader with a visible presence around the school
• Be a leader who is an excellent teacher and communicator who cares deeply about the prospects of young people and is passionate about education within a comprehensive system
• Work with a collaborative and talented Senior Leadership Team and dedicated governing body
