Recruitment Co-ordinator Apprentice (admin)
The Talent Acquisition (recruitment) team are recruiting for a Level 3 Business Administration (ST0070) Apprentice. The Talent Acquisition team are a vital business area in UK Power Networks, keeping the business moving by ensuring that staff are recruited with the right skills, experience and competencies to deliver on all the work we have planned.
In this varied role Recruitment Co-ordinator/Business Administration Apprentices will support the Talent Acquisition team to help issue, contracts, offer letters and the entire on-boarding process for any new starters or internal mobility, keep up to date with any process or polices that could impact day to day work as well as remaining compliant.
By the end of the two-year apprenticeship individuals will be trained to deliver the following activity:
Typing offer letters with speed and accuracy
Accurate data entry of data required to set up new starters in SAP and other databases in line with Data Protection rules
Production of reports and data analysis as and when needed
Operate the ATS (applicant tracking system) Success Factors to process vacancies and offers
Maintain filing of all new starters information, including course certificates, qualifications, Right To Work Document and all other recruitment related documents
Proactively assist with the smooth running of the office
Organising meetings as and when required
Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
Manage and review all references and ensure each candidate is vetted correctly
Build good working relationship with Occupational Health

The Process
The selection process for the Business Administration apprentices will consist of one stage:
Interview with Hiring Manager and team leader
Key information:
Successful applicant must be able to organise their own transport to travel to the office location.
In addition, the successful applicant must be willing to apply for a basic DBS check which will paid for by UK Power Networks.
The candidate will work towards successfully achieving an Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3 through East Surrey College (remotely).
Health & Safety Responsibilities
Managers and supervisors carry both legal and company responsibilities for ensuring the health and safety of their employees, those under their control and those who might be affected by the work undertaken, i.e. public, visitors and employees of other organisations. Employees need to be aware that for some craft and operational roles that work at height, or use fall arrest devices, there is an upper weight limit of 116Kg due to maximum safe working load of the safety equipment that is used.
