Brief overview

This is an exciting apprenticeship for someone who loves to keep fit and healthy and will also be a big part of a gym goers experience! You will be surrounded by music and energy! If you like going to the gym then this would be perfect!


About the employer

Fitness Factory was established in 2010 as a women-only gym and later expanding to a gym for both men and women. After a devastating fire in March 2020, the decision was made to move to bigger and better premises so we could offer our members even more. At Fitness Factory, we pride ourselves on being an affordable, community-based gym with high-quality equipment and a friendly environment. WHAT WE OFFER - We provide our members with a friendly service in a warm, welcoming environment, we're kitted out with the number one brands in gym equipment (Hammerstrength, Cybex, Life Fitness, and Precor Icarian) to ensure a thorough and enjoyable workout each and every time. We offer a large number of regular, free classes ranging from Body conditioning to a variety of others such as Spin, HIIT, Yoga, Dance fitness, Boxing, Circuits, and many more! We also run women-only bootcamps. Over the years, we have invested and continued to invest in ensuring that our gym is kitted out with the number one brands in gym equipment. We are one of the only private gyms in Leicester that has the Nautilus glute drive and stairmasters. Equipment forms a key part of our mission to provide an outstanding fitness experience


Annual wage

£9,609.60


Working week

Monday to Friday - With some weekends Split shifts between 6:30am - 9:30pm

  • The gym is open Mon to Friday between 6am to 9.30pm and weekends. Must be flexible to work different shifts.
  • Total hours per week: 35 hours a week

Expected duration

16 Months


What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Updating client details on our system.
  • Welcoming our members
  • Signing new up members.
  • Attending meeting with operations manager/ taking minutes.
  • Dealing with client enquiries.
  • Supporting the general manager.
  • Responding to emails.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will work towards completing a level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship
All training will be delivered remotely by LMP Education
The employer will give you time out of your working week to focus on your apprenticeship studies


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The right candidate may be offered a permanent position after completion of the apprenticeship.

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) essential
